Working For Hypermarket
With the state the economy is currently in, it’s not surprising that so many people are trying to get jobs, even those who’ve never had to work before, housewives and such are finding themselves trying to find work, it could be to pay for a nice holiday, or something else nice in life, but that isn’t the case these days, whatever the reasons, people need work and Tesco is a popular idea that seems to pop into your mind when you think of getting a job.
Obviously you know you want to work at a super market, obviously at a large chain supermarket, just like Tesco, so we’ve figured out where we want to work, but it’s a chain market, there are loads of different Tesco’s across the country, the next thing you need to consider, can you travel? You don’t have to have a car, you can usually get a bus / train to a nearby location, which is near a Tesco, I mean not everyone has a car, but everyone has to go shopping.
Consider getting the train, or bus to work every day, it’ll mean you’ll be able to work in a lot more locations, perhaps your local Tesco doesn’t have any job vacancies right now, this way you’ve still got plenty of other options in working for Tesco, but let’s move on to getting the interviews in the first place, getting a job interview for a huge company like Tesco really isn’t as easy as you’d think.
Thankfully in this day and age it’s pretty easy to find out if a Tesco is employing new staff, the most obvious place to check first and yes, you are on it right now, on the computer / internet, you can check out the official Tesco website from a simple Google Search, they’ll list all of the jobs they’ve got going, at all of their locations, so type in where you’d want to work and check out if they’ve got any jobs, this is why preparing the locations you can work at beforehand will save you time, of course if your local Tesco is hiring, you won’t need to use your list.
If, for whatever reason you can’t seem to get the Tesco website to work, all hope is not lost, if you pickup the local newspaper for your local Tesco, the same area local newspaper, the chances are Tesco will advertise in it, a local store for local people, advertised on the local newspaper, makes perfect sense. You’ll probably find more adverts on the internet, because that’s free advertising, paying for adspace on a newspaper usually costs, bare that in mind when your searching for your Tesco job!
